Crafting newbies, if you are interested in learning how to knit, go to Michaels or Joannes and pick up a ball of dishcloth cotton yarn (like Lily and Cream) and knitting needles in size 7 or 8. You can learn how to cast on and garter stitch a dish cloth to start learning the knit stitch at the meeting.
